The Alpha program is a great way to learn about God.
This 12 week course starts with the most basic questions of faith, and then expands to cover a variety of topics including prayer, suffering, healing, and spiritual gifts.
Meeting for 60-90 minutes once a week, the group watches a video presentation and then discusses the topic of the week in an open atmosphere where there are no stupid questions.

Even as a lifetime believer I found the Alpha Program to be an excellent way to look deeper into my faith. The program is a great catalyst to a more enriching spiritual life. I highly recommend to any one regardless where you are at on your spiritual journey.
