OUR WORSHIP

What is Liturgical Worship?

Liturgical worship simply means worship that follows a historic pattern. Christians have gathered in this way for centuries, centering their worship on Scripture, prayer, singing, confession, the preaching of God's Word, and Holy Communion. Rather than creating a new service every week, liturgical worship follows a rhythm that helps us remember and participate in the story of God's salvation.

Is it Tradional or Contemporary?

In many ways, both. Our worship is rooted in the historic practices of the Christian Church, but our goal is not to recreate a particular era or style. You will hear ancient prayers alongside modern language, historic hymns alongside newer songs, and timeless biblical truths applied to everyday life. We seek worship that is faithful, meaningful, and accessible.

What do we mean by Worship?

Worship is much more than singing. Throughout Scripture, worship includes prayer, hearing God's Word, confession, thanksgiving, giving, receiving Communion, and offering our whole lives to God. Our Sunday gathering is a time when we come together as God's people to glorify Him, be formed by His grace, and be sent out to serve Him in the world.

What Should I Expect When I Visit?

You can expect a warm welcome, biblical teaching, meaningful worship, and people from a variety of backgrounds seeking to follow Jesus together. Everything you need to participate will be provided, and no prior church experience is necessary. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you are comfortable.

Do I Need to Know the Liturgy?

Not at all. Many of our members came from non-liturgical churches or had little church background at all. Our service slides and bulletin will help you follow along, and you'll quickly find that the prayers and responses become familiar. Don't worry about getting everything right—simply come and worship with us.

Is There a Place for Me Here?

We believe the Church is a community of people being transformed by the grace of Jesus Christ. Whether you are exploring Christianity for the first time, returning to church after many years away, or looking for a church home, you are welcome to join us. We would be honored to walk alongside you as you seek to know Christ more deeply.
